Theta Delta Chi International Fraternity

Troy Clark Memorial Donations

This page is being set up in honor of Troy Edward Clark. He was born in Cumberland, Virginia on November 24th 1971, and was taken from us all too soon on January 17th 2009. Troy was a loyal brother of Theta Delta Chi since his initiation in 1989. He served locally as Treasurer, regionally as Governor of Region II, and internationally on the board of the Educational Foundation. Troy made numerous road trips as an active brother and alumnus to support our fraternity. He was present at the chartering of our Xi Triton Charge at SUNY Albany, as well as at the re-chartering of Chi at Rochester, just to name a few. He was a regular attendee at the international convention, supporting our brotherhood through the years, both during and after his college years. He would always speak proudly about his consistent support of the VG dues campaign to raise money for the fraternity through voluntary dues given by alumni.

Several years after earning his degree in marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University, Troy left Richmond, and moved to Tampa, Florida where he worked as a custom clothing salesman for the Tom James Company. Through the years, Troy kept in touch with many of us, always willing to catch up on old times, and make time for his brothers when they came to visit. He was the best man in my wedding, and was a dear friend to my wife and young son. Troy truly left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and will be missed by his family, his lifelong brothers in Theta Delta Chi, and certainly by the long list of friends that he has made over the years.
